About Us

Uniting the community through culture and diversity

Dashiki Day is a day dedicated to celebrating the African culture through the wearing of the African attire to promote our fashion, roots, and culture. Our goal is to use this event to bridge the gap between Africans and the entire Colorado community. This event is meant for all race, color, and culture in Colorado

Governor Polis in August 2019 made August African Immigrant month in Colorado. In commemoration of this proclamation, we have continually had our Dashiki festival in August. This is to emphases on the importance and value we placed in promoting and bringing diversity to Colorado as we bridge the gap within our community and unite our differences.
