Last year, at our 8th Annual Dashiki Festival, we witnessed how deeply this celebration resonated with our community. It was a powerful reminder that this festival is more than an event. The 9th Annual Dashiki Festival was nothing short of spectacular! What began years ago as a small community gathering has blossomed into one of Colorado’s most vibrant celebrations of African culture.
This year, more than 5,000 people came together at Levitt Pavilion in Denver for an unforgettable day filled with laughter, music, dance, food, and fashion.
Music Festival That Moved the Soul
The stage came alive with performances from star artists like Femi Kuti, alongside incredible musical groups and DJs who kept the crowd on their feet. From Afrobeat rhythms to modern African-inspired sounds, the music pulsed through the festival, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and connection.
